Organics Division – Analyst or Laboratory Technician

Permanent with a 3 month probation period
Depot Road, Newmarket

We have a position available within the Organics Division for an Analyst or Laboratory Technician, dependent upon relevant qualifications and work experience.

Analyst – £18,880 to £22,540

This role involves processing samples and data in accordance with our Quality Management Systems, maintaining the analytical instrumentation and equipment, entering accurate and timely results onto the Company LIMS system and conducting sample preparation as required. The successful candidate will be degree level qualified in a relevant subject, with proven analytical experience.

Laboratory Technician – £15,750

This role undertakes a range of duties which includes preparing samples, running instrumentation for sample testing, assisting in the maintenance of analytical instrumentation and other associated support tasks. The successful candidate will be educated to a minimum of A-Level or equivalent (grade C and above) in science subjects and/or mathematics.

The successful candidate will be conversant with working in a fast paced environment, have good attention to detail, be PC literate, have strong organisational skills and have an aptitude for working within a scientific field.

Our UKAS accredited laboratory in Belfast specialises in microbiological and asbestos analysis and due to continued growth we are recruiting for a Laboratory Technician to join our microbiology laboratory. The role will involve supporting the analytical team which specialises in Legionella testing and other routine water microbiological determinations and associated analyses.

The successful candidate will have an aptitude for science subjects and a willingness to learn and develop within a scientific environment. Candidates will need to enjoy working in a fast paced environment and have good attention to detail. They will also be PC literate and be able to demonstrate good organisational skills and work well in a team.

We are inviting applications for the position of Analyst or Trainee Analyst within the Microbiological Team at our UKAS accredited laboratory in Belfast which specialises in Legionella testing alongside other routine water microbiological determinations and associated analyses. The Customer Service Advisor role provides an exciting opportunity to suit a candidate with excellent customer focus who is looking to become an integral part of a professional team providing a high quality service for this fast growing company. This role will have direct responsibility for dealing with client’s communication regarding any aspect of service and to issue all client reports in a timely fashion.

The successful candidate will have excellent organisation and communication skills covering telecom and email, be conversant with working in a fast paced and customer driven environment, with good attention to detail and intermediate MS Office skills including Excel, Word and Outlook. Previous experience in a target driven Customer Service environment would be an advantage.

This position is permanent with a three month probation period.
